"This is not this"

Where do you put your trust?

I put my trust in the One who will never fail me, no matter what happens in the world!

Have been thinking about you and your fellow Icelanders lately. Of course I know that you - as a believer in Christ - will put your trust in God alone, but still it must be difficult to stay calm and confident during such an economic crisis.
Hope you are well, Kartin. Blessings from the Netherlands!

Iceland is sinking like a broken ship, but that kind of explanation is ridiculous.
You can be a believer or not, it doesn`t matter, in fact the people who created all this mess (part of them) are christians and members of the Bush administration.
Living in Iceland is strange, and when you read about how the country is run then you are not surprised about the collapse of that nation.

It's about caring, is about competition, free market and solidarity.
But when in a nation all the supermarkets are own by the same family, all the media by the same family, and another one control the banks you create a plutocracy, and that's a Iceland.
Believing or not in god doesn`t matter, I don`t choose not believe, it's just a feeling, a passion, you have it or not, and I shouldn't, neither the people like me, be blamed by the collapse of the country where we live.

I am not blaming anyone here. I am just saying that I put my trust in God. When things get tough I have a firm ground to stand on because God is always there with me and He guides me through the hard times. In the end my faith in God is all that matters... I can lose everything, but God will never leave me. That's basically what I'm saying with this post.
