I want to do this!

Mercy Ships
- Bringing Hope and Healing...

"Mercy Ships, a global charity, has operated a growing fleet of hospital ships in developing nations since 1978. Following the example of Jesus, Mercy Ships brings hope and healing to the poor, mobilizing people and resources worldwide.

Mercy Ships follows the 2,000 year-old model of Jesus.
- The blind see (cataract operations).
- The lame walk (orthopaedic operations).
- The mute speak (cleft-lip and palate operations).
- Women's reproductive health (VVF operations).
- Good News (the nature and character of a loving God) is proclaimed among the poor.

Mercy Ships welcomes volunteers who would like to give of their time, efforts and expertise to the work of bringing hope and healing to the poor.

Short-term volunteers can participate from two weeks to a full year with Mercy Ships, while others may choose to serve in a career capacity.

Mercy Ships provides medical care, relief aid, and training for long-term sustainable change in developing nations."

Take a look for yourself and see what they are doing! It's amazing!

Hi Katrin!
At this moment our organisation www.vvhs-bkv.nl is working together with Mercy Ships on a special Bible project for Africa. This special edition will also give information on some hygiene basics and tells the readers how to prevent the spread of AIDS. I did write the Introduction for this special Bible edition! If you really want to be involved in this Mission - please let me know. Blessings!
