Finals are OVER! FINALLY!!!

I am finally FREE! Finals are over! Just thought I'd share the joy with all of you... Ahhh!

I survived!

THE test is over and I survived! I had my written exam in internal medicine today and boy am I glad it's over. The test was quite far from what I had expected... from what any of us expected, but hey... that's how it goes sometimes, right? At least it's over. On to the next one now... written exam in surgery in a week.

I don't know about you, but I've experienced taking life down an icy road, ending up spinning out of control, knowing that what waits ahead is an ugly crash. I've had those moments where all I could do was throw my hands up in the air and say "Jesus, take the wheel!". It's so easy to get lost and make mistakes... but in the end what counts is who is at the wheel today? It's never too late for God to turn things around, I've experienced that in big and small ways in my life. So instead of just turning to Jesus when I'm spinning out of control, I'm starting every day with that simple prayer... "Jesus, take the wheel"

Hard to stay positive!

Yes, it's hard to stay positive these days... I have 2 more weeks of heavy duty studying before finals are over. I have already spent a few weeks studying because of the practical test we had a week ago, so let's just say I'm a little bit tired of it all... Man, I'd give anything for a couple of days of just relaxing and not worrying about the upcoming finals. On well, thinking like that doesn't change the fact that I need to keep at it! So, no more self pity! This will be over in 15 days, that's better than 20 days! (Trying the Pollyanna approach, haha) Can't wait till it's over!! I will be extatic on that day!

Feelin' good!

Just finished my practical exam in surgery today! Ahhhhhh! Feels so good! I think I did pretty well, so I am all smiles right now. Trying to get ready to study for three more weeks... hmmm... not really feeling like it... But let's not spoil the happiness - I'm done with the practical!

Only 7 days to go until I finish my practical test in Surgery.

Only 21 days to go until I have my written exam in Internal medicine.
Only 28 days to go until I have my written exam in Surgery.

The next 4 weeks are going to be MASSIVELY hectic! I feel exactly like the guy in the picture above...
