Leaving on a jetplane....

YEAH! In just a little more than one day I leave for the Canary Islands with my family! We're going on a two-week family vacation! Man, I'm soooo excited. I just can't wait to get there! We will be on a small island called Lanzarote.

I guess I won't blog much while I'm there 'cause who wants to sit in front of a computer in a place like this:

So I'm just gonna say: God bless you gusy and see ya when I'm back from the Canary Islands. Feel free to envy me right now :oP

I saw a miracle today!

If babies aren't the biggest miracles in the world, I don't know what is! So small and so perfect... Just think about it... 9 months before birth they are only a very small cluster of cells that developes into a perfect little child. How can that be anything less than a miracle! Such a great witness to the Mastermind and Designer of life! The way a baby developes in its mothers womb is no coinsidence - it is all orchestrated, in every detail, by our amazing God and heavenly Father.

For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother's womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place.
When I was woven together in the depths of the earth,
your eyes saw my unformed body.

So yea, I was at a wedding yesterday. My cousin Gunnar married Úlla. The wedding was so.... what word can I use...... PERFECT! They are such an elegant couple. It was a beautiful wedding and a great celebration. After all the speaches and the entertainment they had a DJ play some music. It was so fun! Old and young on the dance floor. I danced till my feet hurt! I don't think I've had so much fun dancing - ever. It was great! Weddings are just the bestest ;o) Everyone is so happy, not to mention the bride and groom - they radiate ;o)

It was a good day :)

My friend had a baby today!

I got some great news today and I'm so happy and so excited! My friend Magga had a baby boy today! I can't wait to visit her :o)

I went to visit her yesterday after work and I could tell she was ready to give birth (she was so big!) ;o) Any moment now, I thought, and then I got these news today!

Big things are happening all around me and it's so fun! Last Saturday my cousin got married, this saturday another cousin of mine is getting married, later this summer (in August) friends of mine are getting married, others just got engaged and today my friend had a baby! WOW! That's a lot of BIG stuff going on. Makes me think... when is it my turn? :oP haha! Not really much happening in my life... but hey, I'll get there too................ some day...

So, life is happening all around me and it's great! ;o)

The most beautiful wedding!

Hello everyone! About time I said a little something here...

This last week has just been so busy because I was in charge of the decorations at my cousins wedding - kinda felt like a wedding planner :oP hehe. It was a lot of work but it turned out really well so it was worth it :)

The wedding was yesterday and I have to say it was one of the most beautiful weddings I've been to. In the church the bride (Hanna) and groom (Siggi) said a little something to each other and it was soooo cute! The wedding seremony was beautiful and Siggi and Hanna were beaming of joy. No doubt that they were created for each other!

The celebration was at 6 pm with dinner and later on the wedding cake. While people were eating and enjoying the party there was entertainment and speeches. It was really fun.
